As you may know, the Rift Valley Children’s Village (RVCV) and the work that is done by the Tanzanian Children’s Fund (TCF) is something that is very special to Carla and me. TCF provides a forever home and family to marginalized children while also providing quality education, free medical care and economic opportunity for a community of 10,000 in Northern Tanzania.

About Gijs - 102 new donors

Friends and friends of friends, I’m excited to be participating in the #Doitfor102 challenge for the Tanzanian Children’s Fund. This challenge calls for committing to a daily activity that can be done 102 times, seconds, or minutes each day all to celebrate the 102 incredible kids that call the Rift Valley Childrens Village home. Since I like to be a little different, I’ve pledged to try to enlist 102 new (small) donors to RVCV over the next two weeks. Each of those will hopefully become return donors over time. I fear its going to take quite a few 102’s of something of me (and you) to get this done. Of course I need all of you to spread the word because 102 new donors in two weeks isn’t going to be easy. No donation is too small (or big), and though return donors don’t count towards my goal, they do help towards the overall goal for the campaign and will encourage others. Thanks so much for taking the time to become a donor and help me achieve my goal. Much like the community around the childrens village, I am grateful for the love, encouragement, and support that I can always count on from all of you. Gijs
