As you know, the Rift Valley Children’s Village (RVCV) and the work that is done by the Tanzanian Children’s Fund (TCF) is something that is very close to my heart. TCF provides a forever home and unconditional love to102 children while also providing quality education, free medical care and economic opportunity for a community of 10,000 in Northern Tanzania.

About Derby's#Doitfor102

Like every non-profit in the time of Covid, we had to be little creative with fundraising this year. I’m so excited to be participating in the #Doitfor102 challenge for the Tanzanian Children’s Fund. The challenge calls for committing to a daily activity that can be done 102 times, seconds, or minutes each day to celebrate the 102 incredible kids that call RVCV home.  For the two weeks, I’ve pledged to write 102 letters to people living in nursing homes who cannot receive visitors because of Covid. My goal is to raise $10,000 as part of the $250,000 goal. No donation is too small. Thanks so much for taking the time to consider this. Much like the community around TCF, I am so grateful for the love, encouragement, and support that I can always count on from you.
